Android P Programmer Preview 1 is targeting a mid-month release.

Renowned leaker Evan Blass recently tweeted that "Android P Developer Preview 1 is targeting a mid-month release." While the verbal engagement hasn't been mentioned in the tweet, readers have been putting their logic on information technology, speculating March xiv to be the actual engagement for the release.
The logic backside the aforementioned engagement is quite simple. It was previously touted that the next version of Android would be called "Android Pie". Now, while Pie is a dessert substantially, a simple wordplay would effect in people really considering the word to exist "Pi". For those of you weak in maths, Pi is the ratio of a circle'south circumference to its diameter, whose value comes out to be roughly "three.14". Equally such, people are considering iii to correspond the calendar month, while 14 representing the engagement, thus effectively stating March 14 to be the twenty-four hours of the Pi.
Nonetheless, we urge our readers to take all this news with a pinch of salt, considering all this is a speculation based on a leak. Google had previously released an Android Pie Easter Egg to Tease Fans, which ultimately turned out to be a troll.
Be as it is, Google is known for being witty about its Easter Eggs and Android launches. Personally, I can't wait to attempt the rumored developer preview on my Pixel 2. But what about you? I'd love to hear your take on all of this in the comments downwardly below.
